Pleburan, dtap.undip.ac.id- Doctoral promotion examination was held again in the Main Conference Room on the 1st floor of Building A of Undip Postgraduate Programme. This event organised by the Architecture and Urban Engineering Doctoral Study Program was held on Thursday (28/4/16) at 10.00 am and attended by approximately 70 invited guests.
Djoko Indrosaptono, MT, Promovendus who is also a lecturer at the Department of Architecture, FT Undip successfully defended his dissertation research entitled “The Role of the Informal Sector in Inorganic Waste Management in Semarang City”. The examiners consisting of Chairman/Dean (Ir. M. Agung Wibowo, MM, M.Sc, Ph.D), Secretary (Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ing. Ir. Gagoek Hardiman), Promoter (Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Imam Buchori), Co-Promoter (Dr. Ir. Joesron Alie Syahbana, M.Sc.), External Examiner/ITS (Prof. Ir. Happy Ratna Santosa, M.Sc, Ph. D), internal examiners/Undip (Prof. Dr. Ir. Sugiono Soetomo, DEA; Prof. Sudharto P. Hadi, MES, Ph.D and Dr. Ir. Retno Widjajanti) gave appreciation and congratulations on the success.
The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Ir. M. Agung Wibowo, MM, M.Sc, Ph.D, also expressed his hope that all lecturers in the Faculty of Engineering should complete their doctoral studies as soon as possible. Considering the increasingly competitive world of education, especially facing the Asian Global Market. The world of education such as Thailand and Vietnam continues to improve significantly, for that reason the presence of human resources who are increasingly qualified in the scientific field is expected to be a magnet and prima donna for knowledge seekers and researchers in higher education, he explained.
